How is self-cleaning glass made?
« on: 27/03/2011 00:30:03 »
Jamie Palmer asked the Naked Scientists:

I'm a year 11 student in Australia studying chemistry and have a project on self cleaning glass.

I was wondering if you could send some information about it (i.e Manufacturing processes and chemical processes like the oxidation of the titanium dioxide). However I am mainly interested in the chemistry processes at the nanoscale.

I have listened to your mp3 on the topic but I would like a little more information.

Thank you in advance

Jamie Palmer

What do you think?
