Is it some new particle and new physics, (or just an inability to moderate the urge to compete with the LHC?   :-X  )

Here are some updates posted after last night's webcast. They're talking about a new unforseen very heavy particle. They're 99.9% sure it's not just random noise.

A promise to demolish the standard model in summer?

No wait, it's got a mass 120-160 GeV/c^2 not unlike charm quark.

Charge and spin not forthcoming. Are they zero?

Thanks. Oooh a technipion.

"The new force comes with a zoo of new particles."  :o

And it's goodbye super-symmetry, (or perhaps just au-revoir).
