What is the name of isomerism exhibited by methyl acetate and ethyl formate. Both are esters. So not functional isomers.

Do you call them metamers or something else?

I'd go for "position isomerism" ( but wait for Bored Chemist's opininon ) ...

Ok! I got it now. It is a case of metamerism.

"Metamer" is an obsolete term for isomer ...

Yes! I too think naming isomerism is some times difficult.
