loss of outer third of eyebrow is associated with endocrine disease ... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sign_of_Hertoghe

[IMO microvascular disease is responsible for both rather than endocrine insufficiency somehow causing loss of outer eyebrow, the outer part of the eyebrow is more innervated than the inner]
