Hi,

on the internet I found more articles on the Casimir effect.
They were written from the moving mirror is very weak sources of negative energy.
But if I use 96 flat mirrors every 250 m square.
Place them around the perimeter disk that revolves 100 revolutions per second.
Will it be enough at establishing a sufficient density of negative energy to create a wormhole?
Or at least provide a basis for a wormhole?

 Thank you

At the risk of opening up another long running argument on the existence of negative energy - I would say that the concept of Casimir plates creating a region of negative energy is highly speculative and confusing.  In some cases the absence of a positive can be seen perfectly as the presence of a negative - case in point, this was the idea behind the first postulation of the positron; in other cases the absence of a positive should be viewed just as that - the magdeburg spheres do not stay together because of the presence of something negative inside but because of the positive air pressure around them.

On the calculations of energy I would need more idea of what you are envisaging but it is highly speculative and not based on firm knowledge

I read more articles about Casimir effect and they are write:
Casimir effect is source of negative energy (space of negative energy density).Negative energy is dark energy from vacuum and it is 72 % of universe!

Jaiii  - many articles do and many don't; it's highly speculative!  This is not a simple settled area in which you can be dogmatic.  There is much cutting edge research here - and a lot of reputable physicists putting very outré ideas out in public.

Moving mirror amplification of the effect has never been demonstrated - although it has been theoretically predicted.

Dark energy is a catch-all name that will stand until we actually know more.  The universe is expanding and that expansion is accelerating.  Something must be driving that change in pace.  When this was first postulated this unknown factor was given a nickname to demonstrate that we knew little about it - dark energy.  What dark energy actually IS remains an open question.

Of the three energies (and I am uneasy even saying that) that we have discussed, negative energy, dark energy, and vacuum energy; the most known and understood is vacuum energy and we are still a long way from being sure about that.  It is vacuum energy that casimir plates help investigate btw.  The problem is that some methods of calculation give the vacuum energy as 10-14 joules per cm^3 and other QED-based methods give it about 120 orders of magnitude higher - and this "energy" is the one of the three we know most about!

I don't know the theory behind it - just that the theory exists.  Sorry, so unless you can provide a lot more info you are on your own

No, it won't be enough. First of all, wherever did you see a wormhole?
They are hypothetical constructs, not seen anywhere in space.

Then the Casimir effect, you can see it as either the so called zero space energy. As a 'field' of energy, possibly fluctuating inside our macroscopic reality or as a electromagnetic 'ground state' which only will fluctuate under certain circumstances, as when introducing two objects of matter extremely close to each other.

The other way I know to see the Casimir effect is as a effect of just matter. That means that it belongs solely to the bondings of matter and what happens when matter gets introduced to either a splitting or when as described above 'almost' connecting two objects of matter. In that case it will be a matter of 'cohesion energy' belonging to matter.

In either case it is not usable energy macroscopically as it is very weak. Maybe it will be for nano-technology though, if we succeed to miniaturize our further spacecrafts and missions, but then we are talking nano-sized instruments and spacecrafts.

As for the mirrors they are also hypothetical, not proved except in theory.
