In the subject Batteries a interesting point came up

You have to admit itís a clever idea to use up some of the product in self testing. I wonder how it could be transferred. I know a lot printers use up ink each time you start them.

Can you think of any others?

I really can not imagine that this would have such a great effect on the overall life of the battery. I actually like it as a useful tool. With four kids , with all their toys and devices we get through a lot of batteries.

You'd only use the tester once or twice just before using the battery

I have a spare keyboard and mouse. If you want to furnish me with plane tickets (first class) then I would be happy to give them to you.

I am sure you agree this would make for a far more worthwhile and ' value for money ' way of serving your need. ;)
