Dear All,

I am mechanical engineer, i have engineering company.
Now i would like to start chemical work also.
so i need info about red phosphorus. and how to get it.
By which process?
What is raw material?
Which is require items?

Kindly guide me.

You can make red phosphorus from white phosphorus by either heating it to 250 degrees Celsius or by exposing it to sunlight. Take note that you do NOT want to expose the white phosphorus to the air or oxygen while doing this; it will spontaneously ignite in air.
