An experiment was performed some time ago trying to determane the weight of the sole. The experiment involved carefully weighing people at the time of death. It was assumed that any change in weight would be the sole leaving the body. However because of E=MC2 we know that energy (heat) has weight. Assuming a person is healthy at the time of death, with a normal temperature of 37 degrees they will cool to 21 degrees over a few hour. So how much weight does this correspond to?
