Cripes! I hope I don't get chased by one of them. It's bad enough with the wolves around here.

As long as you can run further than it's power cable you'll be fine.

Kind of reminds me of the book, Fahrenheit 451.

I believe it looks as if its running backwards because of the backward motion or the treadmills belt.....

THAT IS VERY VERY COOL!

It looks like it is running backwards because the feet look like they are put on backwards.  Although, the "feet" appear to be somewhat of shock absorbers, and more knee than foot, and the backwards orientation is because the legs go from a forward angle to a vertical angle.

The device also has a light colored structure that appears to be a "head" in the tail position.

I think that's what threw me. It does appear to have been built back-to-front and perhaps with the forelimbs longer than the hind, which also gives the appearance of it running backward. Then there's the old left to right thing, which just matches so many things we do. Perhaps this robot was built by someone left handed.

I still think you have to go a long way to match Asimo's performance on QI.

I think that's why they are all heading this way. Maybe we should introduce a few African lions to keep the wolf population under control.
