well for the price of a square foot of aluminium (kitchen) foil and a bit of cardboard ...

admittedly coverage is directional with this Blue-Peter style addon, (previously omnidirectional).

On the other hand, if you need a highly directional WIFI antenna for making a bridge, then it will cost about as much as a can of Pringles.
