Previously I posted about the average age of Scots, but was wrong, Scots live into their 70s, but Hungarian men only to 65, due to pollution and suicide...

Can anything be done to improve that?

It looks as if the further east one travels in Europe, the lower the life expectancy.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_sovereign_states_in_Europe_by_life_expectancy

So, the obvious solution is for everyone in Europe to move 500 miles westward!!!!
Except those in Portugal who would benefit from moving eastward.

Keep in mind there are many ways to look at life expectancy.  It is often highly skewed by infant deaths and war.  I would imagine now that the Irish aren't shooting each other anymore, it should improve their life expectancy.
