Bill Kiers  asked the Naked Scientists:

Can I take Cod Liver Oil with my prescription medicine? Or do I have to take it seperate as it may contain vitamins which they say don't help taking it with medicines?

What do you think?

People often overlook their neighborhood pharmacist as a source of information and are always bugging their doctors with questions like these. Most pharmacists are more than happy to answer questions about drug interactions, side effects, etc. legally qualified to do that, and can give you an answer right away.
