What are the reactions in nuclear fusion of deuterium and tritium?

The obvious reaction would be H-2 + H-3 --> He-4 + n-1, and that would certainly be one possibility. I think that there might be a catalysed mechanism, though, that would require less activation energy than that direct reaction.

The same article also talks about muon-catalysed fusion, but muons are an expensive catalyst which decays rapidly.
