##### Amount of shear applied and impact force of a Kitchen blender

Hello people,
I am in need of this information in the title for doing some calculations. Anyone know where i can find these information or the data to help me calculate them? Assume a Hamilton Beach household blender.

Assuming a mostly empty blender/food processor.

Then you could assume the blade is turning at about the free spinning RPM.

You can calculate the velocity of the tips of the blade based on length and RPM.

How fast do the nuts move?  You could attribute V=0 to them.  This might be good if chopping in pulse mode, but perhaps not accurate for a blending operation.

What happens to a nut (say at V=0), when struck by a moving blade?
