I have this condition and I was prescribed a drug by my GP after referral to a dermatologist. I forget the specifics but I believe it was covered in AskTNS.

The drug I was prescribed Propantheline, it has changed my life as I was previously controlled by this condition. There are side effects including dry mouth, which in turn makes the voice sound raspy, like you have a sore throat. But for me this is a life changing medicine, the side effects are well worth suffering for the benefits it brings and I am very grateful to have been prescribed it.

There are other treatments that can be prescribed to treat hand and feet HH, but the condition mainly affected my face and head. Basically I would perspire on the head most of the time, even in the freezing cold.

Such a simple drug improved my life an enormous amount, in a way that non sufferers would find it hard to understand.
