That is a bloody good question that I always ask myself too.....

...however nowadays I let them stay inside....they are your friend Michael...they eat all the nasty flys and stuff...so house spiders are friends... so you be a friend to them too...

Is it wifey who makes you get rid of them  ?

Men are the same as women, just inside out !

Hummm that is a good question. I don't know though. I can hold most any spider around with the exception of a Terantulas or Brown Recluse. I was bitten by a Recluse and that caused some serious problems with my arm. My favorite is  beautifl Pumpkin Spider! They make great webs and are so colorful!  A recluse likes dirty dusty dark places inside usually, which tells me we might be hurting some of them, but then I think they would mostly come from outside in as much as they had to be out before civilization and homes shelters etc. Then deduction tells me there were dark crevices like caves etc. so I really don't know. Some may seek shelter and come in others seem content out side, it is indeedy a great question!Perhaps we should look this up in ye old wikipedia ehh, someone who knows about that!

Found this chap in my garden last week! What do you make of the drops of moisture on her leg joints?

Thats odd, It doesn't look like any egg sacs that I have ever seen, was this in the early morning, perhaps it was just that. Or maybe something to do with web substance, is it ever liquid befor it is actually spun into a web. I wonder if it congeels(spelling) sorry, or becomes thick before being spun. I always thought they produced that material from their mouths? Hummm, cool spider Hadrian! Good question , I don't however know for sure. I will have to check my spider book at school today!

ewwwwwwwww I can not be in the room if i know there is a spider, i really think i have that thing called arachniphobia, i have tried to like them and get over the fear, i even owned a tarantuala...but when i woke up one morning and found two instead of one in the cage i freaked and got rid of her to the kid down the block, i later found out there were not two in there, but that she had molted or something like that shed her skin, i felt silly, but still glad she is gone from my care and still as scared as ever of any spider besides a daddy long legs, i will stay in the room with them, but not go near it even thought i know its mouth is too small to bite me.

B free!!!
