Can human bacteria infect plants?

The bacterium which causes acne in humans has been found in Italian grapevines...

A number of bacteria such as staph, strep, & etc, live in the environment.  However, it is interesting that a human adapted bacterium has made such a leap to a completely different host. 

Now, perhaps one could convince teenagers that imbibing in wine causes acne ;)
