Can someone help me identify this rock?

This rock is super heavy... Its the size of my fist and must weigh 5-8 lbs. Thanks for helping me out!

If the "gold" takes the form of cubes , then it isn't gold ...

Hi Sweetep76.  I'm strongly inclined to go with RD on this one.  It looks like pyrite.  Also looks like you have some copper bloom (No 4).  Where did you find it?

Or, if the photos show true colors, I would suggest chalcopyrite.
