Why was Tesla's technology never finished?
« on: 04/08/2014 15:30:02 »
John Storom  asked the Naked Scientists:

There is growing interest in the world around Nicola Tesla's work. The drive for free energy is gaining momentum. I would like Chris to give us a non-conspiracy theory answer as to why there isn't yet a working model of Tesla's technology. I am not expecting any thing on the grand scale of free transmitted energy to the whole planet but a small scale unit that can power a household or maybe a shopping centre.

Is there any scientific reason why this cannot be achieved today?

Kind Regards
John Storom

What do you think?

It has been a very good technology. But the thing is that many scientists have still not understood about its mechanism. If you want, you could try to market it at a large scale. Still there are many videos which explain about this principle.
He has been a very great scientist.Tributes to him for finding the generator. I you want to see the working model of it, try searching about 'skyship motor'.

Yes. It violates the law of physics which says that energy is conserved.

The problem is that it powers every damn thing at once, whether you want it or not. Imagine being in a perpetual microwave oven.

About what technology exactly are you asking about? Seems that you are asking about wireless electric transmission, is that right?
Well, it does actually work and its not very hard to make, but it is incredibly inefficient way to transmit power and, well, it is not free at all. The energy transmitted still has to be generated somehow.
