Narcotics for chronic pain
« on: 09/08/2014 11:01:02 »
I have some damage to my spinal cord and spine which causes severe chronic pain in my lower spine and legs. Without medication the pain is unbearable. With medications like anti-inflammatories there's no decrease in pain whatsoever. With narcotics the pain is controlled very well and I've finally started living a wonderful life again after 10 years of horrible suffering.

I brought this subject up a while back when I was having a hard time with doctors not prescribing these medications. It was horrible how much they lacked compassion to help their patients. It disgusted me, big time! That's the way it was up until last year when I finally found my current doctor. He's a wonderful doctor. All doctors in the world should be like him.

Has anybody here use narcotics for chronic pain or have had to use them in the past? If so will you please describe your experiences with them for me?
