Apparently you're not alone ...

Maybe the current keyboard-drivers aren't compatible with the cutting-edge windows 10 ? ...

The lights not lights not running I could live with but I get frequent dropouts of IE11 which takes about 30 seconds to reload the page !, I have gone back to Windows 8.1 + Start8 which is pretty stable.

I thought I would be clever and move the 9860 drivers into the 9879 version, don't try this at home it kills the keyboard operation and there is no way to recover only a reload !!!!

There is a superstition that only every other one is a success so they gave nine a miss!
For practice I loaded 10/9879 onto a USB HDD with the aid of Win to USB which was quite successful and I notice they fret you should load drivers for a Logitech mouse and key board but when you try they say not compatible.
Also although I obtained the Windows 10 ISO from a perfectly legitimate source it comes up not activated but any of the semi legit activators will due the job (you need activation to get your picture on the boot up but it does not seem to affect anything else much)

I have actually found a solution for one annoying 9879 problem i.e the print spooler constantly dropping out , this might be my fault using a 1995 HP printer with an unsigned driver but it drops out for all printers.
The cure go into services - printer spool and tell it after two attempts to recover to keep on trying, my next goal to get the keyboard lights working.

Version 9888 of windows 10 is now available and the print spooler drop out problem has been cured but still no keyboards lights, all the available printer drives come up immediately you do not have a ten minute wait while they trickle in !.
I am sure there are other improvements but I have not found them yet .

I think I have a cure for the frequent dropout problem with IE11 ,go to Programs and features remove IE11 restart then put it back this seems to have cured it.

Version 9901 is available now if you know where to find it , the browser IE12 ? is more stable but the lack of keyboard lights has not been fixed which I would have thought was trivial.
It seems only to be an update not a new load and takes about 2 hours to get going.
It now includes Contana which I don't understand !!

Windows 10 gradually keeps improving, in the 9926 version the keyboard lights have been fixed at last but IE11 has rather a problem with google toolbar but it can be coaxed in with some low cunning and is quite stable now.

The reasoning is that Win 10 will be free to owners of licenced versions of Win 7 onwards but OEM,s will have to pay for it.
Windows are making it readily available to enthusiasts provided they report back problems to get the bugs out before the official release.

If I don't have it, how am I going to judge how it works? If it is anything like Vista and 7 and 8, it is probably going to continue to digress from XP.

It is easy enough to get just ask Google toolbar or some such to get it for you, make a new partition on your drive with free software such as  AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard Edition 5.5 load it and away you go

I find IE11 with windows 10 a continual source of annoyance with frequent stoppages needing page reloads, I hope when the genuine customer version is issued this will be dealt with meanwhile when I get fed up with it I revert to a TOR browser which is not so convenient to use but never drops out.

The latest update version 10041 seem to have got rid of all the IE11 bugs but you must take care to use compatibly versions where appropriate.

If you use money manager with Windows 10 you must ensure that each individual account is listed in the compatibly list then the YBS manager works fine.
The latest version 10041 is now available as an ISO which makes it far easier to set up a new drive rather than the update that had to be used previously.

Version 10041 is very good and stable but we have lost the control panel and the much liked Google toolbar on IE11

The control panel can be found if you hunt for it!, it is possible to update to version 10049 which is supposed to include a new browser but after waiting 5 hours for it to come thru I found it was missing but if you download a 10049 ISO you get it.

I am beginning to despair of Windows 10 after four months of experimenting with various versions I find there is nothing is does better than windows 8.1 and many things that I rely on just do not work such as money manager,  Google toolbar and smooth working on IE11 so I am abandoning experimentation until a finalised version is released.
Windows 8.1 works fine with small additions and I think in years to come will be regarded like XP32 or Windows 7

We are now up to version 10074 , it has a facncy new browser "Spartan" in which money manager does not work (it works OK in IE11) the input list is not too bad but not as good as Start8 which can be added.

We are now up to version 10162 which can be downloaded from legitimate sources as an ISO and used either as a fresh load or an upgrade.
I have put it on to two computers as an upgrade one runs perfectly while the other had some desktop problems which were resolved by a video card driver reload.
I use Start8 on both which give a more familiar GUI.

We are up to version 10240 which it no longer lists as experimental so that should be the "final" one.
It can be downloaded from file sharing sources free of viruses (checked with three different AV software) and loaded preserving all your programs even if you are not a member, it is activated but I do not know for how long or whether it can be legally used for commercial purposes.
Windows 10 is rather perverse as regards video card settings my GS8400 cards require version NVIDIA 310 for the video processing programs to run in accelerated mode but windows 10 does not like this and as soon as an internet connection is available alters in back to 341 !
