I don't really chew gum or look at the labels. But someone else will know!

I would guess one of the sugar free gums will be the lowest calorie, I don't think any would be zero.

As for other edibles, celery could be described as a minus calorific value, since it takes more calories to eat it than it contains. Perhaps this would be the same for sugar free gum, if you chewed it long enough.

The present invention is related to an aerated sugarless gum product with improved plaque reduction properties. The gum is non-cariogenic low-kilocalorie with low density and has a gum base content above 90%. The product is aerated to improve flexibility and softness. Preferred density is between 0.50 gram/milliliter to 0.90 gram/milliliter. The product has good elastic chewing properties and good bubble forming properties.

And what about this?

New low-calorie Chocolate chewing gum launched

CHEWING gum with all the taste of chocolate but hardly any of the calories is being launched today.

Aimed at chocoholics who don't want to pile on the pounds, each pellet has under five calories.
Cadbury's new Sweet Kicks gum has a liquid chocolate centre in a minty outer case.

The firm reckon it's the Holy Grail of the confectionery world because experts say chewing gum for an hour burns 11 calories.

Cadbury's chief Trevor Bond said: "It provides a moment of pleasure in a sugar-free gum."
