Energy, the Subtle Concept

I found a good book on energy entitled Energy, the Subtle Concept.

Many people come here and ask what energy is. This will be a great reference to point to when someone asks about energy http://bookzz.org/book/1021051/0ab896

That sounds like a very useful book. The description says it goes through the history which is exactly what you need when studying subjects such as this. Seeing what led up to current thinking makes things much easier to grasp.
