I wonder if the designers had a sense of humour and knew this silhouette was likely to happen?

On the rare occasions the ISS passes across the moon it will do so in about 1/3rd of a second, so will go unnoticed to the naked eye.

The fun thing is that this is one of those things that even a crackpot who claims that rockets can't work in space can't escape by claiming its not there since all they have to do is capture it in a photo graph if they have the skill. If not then there's probably a conspiracy theorist who does.

Ah, but they will argue that the ufo, for that's what it really is of course, is not powered by rockets but by photonics drives unknown to mankind.
