Physics and naturalism go hand in hand, why ? Is there not a spirit of science involved also ? Could some one explain metaphysic's as to how it relates to naturalism.

The difference is that most science forums will ban you if you use metaphysics rather than physics, science is not interested in what is ''reality''  but interested in things that actually work.

For example if I said time did not exist , blah blah the reality is....

That has no use in science, where xyz and space-time as a use and is of predictive qualities.   Metaphysics is more of a philosophy nature, based on what actually happens rather than content for use.

Other members may explain it better.
