Blurrey Eyed Mornings !
« on: 27/01/2007 21:21:03 »
I may have asked this before but it happens to me quite often .....

..so why does it happen than when I awake my eyes are out of focus ?...or is it some liquid covering them that evaporates...?..or is it that the eye muscles take a while to kick in before allowing the eye to focus ?

..I don't know !!..do ewe ?

Isn't it the sleepy sand or the mucus which forms over your eyes as you sleep, and then your eye lids act as winshield wipers to wipe away the glased coating of sleep from your peepers? I always thought that was it.. your eyes close, some of that fluid seeps out forming a seal at the corners where it leaaks from, notice that on the outside exposed to the air, it dries and becomes crusty.. But Like a lid on a container your lids keep it covered so whats on the inside forms a coating, but doesn't move so perhaps it builds up thicker during sleep so when you wake its like the morning mist on your winshield and you need to use your wipers to clear away the dew.. LOL Well that may not be a medical explanation, but it would be my best guess!
