Please give one line of a song when your turn comes and allow the game to begin!

"I never had a dream that made sweet love to me"

this one is easier:

There lived a certain man in russia long ago
He was big and strong, in his eyes a flaming glow
Most people looked at him with terror and with fear
But to Moscow chicks he was such a lovely dear...

Nope!

the original performer and song-writer is someone you may not have heard of, unless you like your industrial metal, but the most recent performer had a very wide-reaching audience.

bonus points if you can name both!

The next four lines:

I hurt myself today
To see if I still feel
I focus on the pain
The only thing thats real

The needle tears a hole
The old familiar sting
try to kill it all away
But I remember everything

The second song is much easier! honest!

Undercover Angel
By: Alan O'Day
(Alan O'Day)
1977

Yeah yeah
Cryin' on my pillow
Lonely in my bed
Then I heard a voice beside me
And she softly said
"Thunder is your night light
Magic is your dream"
And as I held her she said, "See what I mean?"

Chorus 1:
I said "Whaaaat?"
She said "Ooo-ooo-ooo-wee"
I said "All right!"
She said "Love me, love me, love me"

Chorus 2:
Undercover angel
Midnight fantasy
I never had a dream that made sweet love to me
Undercover angel
The answer to my prayer
You made me know that there's a love for me out there
(Somewhere)
Yeah, somewhere

Heavenly surrender
Sweet afterglow (Undercover)
Givin' up my heart to you
Now, angel, don't go
She said, "Go find the right one
Love her and then
When you look into her eyes
You'll see me again"

Chorus 1

Chorus 2

Now you know my story
And girl, if it's right
I'm gonna take you in my arms
And love you tonight
Underneath the covers
The answer lies
Lookin' for my angel
In your sweet lovin' eyes

Chorus 1

Chorus 2

Undercover angel
Midnight fantasy
I never had a dream that made sweet love to me
Undercover angel
The answer to my prayer
Love me, love me, love me
Undercover angel
Midnight fantasy
I never had a dream that made sweet love to me
Undercover angel
The answer to my prayer
You made me know that there's a love for me out there

Yes, Hooray!!!! Hurt by Johnny Cash. The original was by Trent Reznor, Nine Inch Nails. The ones who did the closing music to Seven (Brad Pitt and Gwynyth Paltrow)

I didn't think anyone would get Alan O'Day. I've certainly never heard of him! I don't think he made it across the pond!

no-one's got my easy one yet!

Oh, oops, I have something to add. Nine Inch Nails did not write the original, but Johnny Cash. Time check!! Nine Inch Nails came way after Johnny.
