Does grief affect memory?
« on: 23/02/2016 01:50:01 »
Katie Hunter  asked the Naked Scientists:
   I have a question...
Is it possible that emotional trauma such as grief can effect long term memory?I lost a child 3 years ago and have struggled with memory since to the point I haven't felt able to work. More importantly can memory come back? I am due to start another job and keen not to look foolish, I am a Science teacher!

Thank you for producing such a marvellous set of podcasts . I listen to you whilst I run and forget about how exhausted I am and it always feels like a treat!

PS - Do you do any work with Schools?

What do you think?
