Is there a molecular link between retrograde signaling and the modulation of conscious experience ? New evidences suggests a role for serotonin neurotransmission in the causality of consciousness. How does synaptic exocytosis cause microtubules orchestration?

Self-organized criticality in quantum brain dynamics

Serotonergic modulation of conscious states by endocannabinoid synthesis may promote self-organized criticality in brain microtubules: The hypercomputation of conscious states may require a non-local entropic force to generate criticality in microtubules dynamics. I propose synaptic exocytosis as the biological mecanism to create quantum vibrations in microtubules.
