The question seems rather vague - is it an assignment topic?

Do you have some context - like is it for a biology course you have been doing, or an economics course?
  • Life sciences have a value - at least for those of us old enough to know that you don't live forever.
  • Life sciences have a value for younger people too - DNA analysis is a domain which is exploding today.
  • For investors, it is important to know which life sciences companies and products are likely to give the biggest returns.
If in doubt, just google the topic - I am sure it will give you some ideas.

Don't forget that there is also considerable investment value placed into death sciences in most countries, with development and//or purchase of military equipment.

I think this needs focus. Life sciences spans the spectrum from ecology and conservation via agronomy to anatomy, physiology and gene therapy.

At first sight they all have considerable demonstrable value except for human genomics (some clinical value but so far only in extreme cases of anomaly or susceptibility) and gene therapy (remarkably little success to date).

In human genetic life bio science value is great. It helps us to analysis DNA,Ecology etc. Young generation explodes today by Life Science. Biological course is most valuable today than economical study.
