Does Quantum Entanglement violate Causality?

It would seem to violate causality, in that the spin one connected particle instantaneously alters the spin of its twin?

Well you then have to look into Bell's inequality, hidden variables, non-locality and the EPR paradox etc etc. I have been down this road before. There is one guy looking into a non-local hidden variable thoery but it was a while since I investigated it and can't remember who it is. Someone else may do better than me at remembering. I would encourage anyone to study this area since it shows how science progresses by closing off certain avenues via theory and observation. It is also an interesting area of the history of physics for the same reasons.

I'm not sure much has changed on the subject since you asked this question originally in 2013.

Just correcting your post for you so that it doesn't misquote me.
