Dearest Science Peeps of Generous Knowledge Giveth,

Why is there a big walnut around Saturn ?

I mean look for yourself , it's a walnut and no mistake !!!!! the evidence is attached !!!

Ok ok ....just in case it is a moon, what caused such a ridgey looking thing ?

What Caused The Iapetus Ridge   ?


I'm hoping a passing Ridgeologist will pass by and clear this up !

Equatorial ridges are a feature of at least three of Saturn's moons: the large moon Iapetus and the tiny moons Atlas and Pan.
One theory is that these are remnants of Saturn's rings, colliding with the equator of these moons.

yes, the fact that it's on the equator just has to relevant. thank ewe for the very interesting links.
