Say an astronaut is in the international space station and he has a cold. he is not too hygienic and does not put his hand over his mouth when he sneezes. what happens to the phloem containing his cold virus?

does it just float around inside until hitting another astronaut, or is it filtered out in some way?

i wud say that it is filtered becasue the whole space station is air cleansed so the air is clean but until it is filtered it hangs around for a bit

Maybe it floats around, and the virus dies because it has nothing to feed on.
