If i gently throw a frisbee on the moon, how far would it go?

A the way a Frisbee flies on Earth is because of its aerodynamic properties.  Because there is no air on the Moon, nothing can be influenced by any aerodynamic properties, so the Frisbee would have a purely ballistic flight path on the moon (i.e. the Frisbee would have exactly the same flight path as a lump of any material of any shape that happened to be the same weight, and be given the same push).

would there be anything you could do to the frisbee design to make it curve?

There is gravity on the moon, but it is only about 1/6th that of the gravity on Earth.

As tony says, it will go far, but it will eventually hit the ground.

And, no way I can see of creating a curved flight path for for a Frisbee in the absence of any atmosphere, since as you surmise, the curvature of the flight path is a consequence of lateral lift caused by the rotation of the the Frisbee (the magnus effect) as it travels through the air.

And it would curve - sideways, due to the Coriolis effect!

Ok, the Moon doesn't spin very fast so this isn't going to be a BIG curve...

And you won't see it if you through the Frisbee East-West or West-East at the Equator...

But, at least it shows I'm taking an interest  ::)

A parabolic path. Much closer to a true parabola than you get by throwing something on the Earth - unless you can find a vacuum chamber to do it in...?

Curve in what direction? Of course it would curve in a downward direction. Newton's Laws of Motion establish that beyond doubt.

The sideways curve would depend on which direction you threw the Frisbee and in which hemispehere of the Moon you were standing at the time. Don't get me wrong, this is going to be a tiny effect! But of acedemic interest....?

An on-board  rocket system would work too. It would have to work in bursts as the frisbee rotated, so the force was always in the same direction.
