Have you been on TNS?
« on: 13/07/2007 07:35:44 »
I was listening to a podcast from earlier last year about recycling when I heard Chris read out a letter from a really nice chap called "Eth". Associated with the surname given, I was only able to conclude that it was infact our own Doctor Beaver. I also had a question read out on TNS about why cheese makes you sweat.

How many of you guys have had a broadcast experience with:

a) TNS
b) Other

Precisely. All those qualifications and he can't correctly pronounce a simple, 3-letter word  ::)

Not me, but Anastasia has been on or rather had her question answered on TNS. You know all those annoying statistics they come up with on the news or the media? well, in part, they are from me.

I think this requires an explanation.

well, she wrote an email to Chris and he read it out and with the help of Kat answered the question.

unless you are talking about the second part. if you are then the simple answer is that i am in a cohort study http://www.cls.ioe.ac.uk/text.asp?section=000100020002

I've been on, once as a question asker and once as a question answerer. Very wierd, being a question answerer. Three people in a little box-shaped office near the station in Cambridge, and an entirely invisible audience of unknown numbers out there listening in their kitchens/living rooms/cars. It was quite good fun, but the possibilities of making an utter tit of oneself very publicly are higher than I'm happy with...
