Sleep Problem?
« on: 30/07/2007 15:40:09 »
First of all sorry I posted three threads in the same section withing 10 minutes. They have nothing to do with each other so I thought it would work in 3 separate threads.

OK. I go to bed and sit there for 2 hours until I fall asleep, but everyone else I know hit their head on the pillow and falls asleep. Why's that?

I do stay on the comptuer and hour before bed, but during that hour I watch tv. When I go to bed I sometimes listen to the radio. Calm songs. Not no Rap or Rock or Metal. LoL.

When I just sit in bed it seems that my mind just thinks and thinks and won't let myself go to bed. I'm like stop thinking and I can't. LoL.

If you need any more information I'll be glad to tell you what you need to know.

Thanks Sim!

Can ewe tell me next weeks lottery numbers ?

*le sigh*  Sim....wish I could help......I have some experience with sleep issues myself !...

I, like you...can not seem to put a blank in my mind......you could try meditation....a warm glass of milk......a bath.......(LOL..I don't mean drink a bath of warm milk !!)

......I have heard that if you put the radio on , a talk channel,...so that you can just about hear it then this helps too.....

...certainly the being on the computer just before you go to bed does not help.......you essentially need some ' down time ' and program yourself to relax......

...it's not easy......

this is the same problem i've had all my life. then little noises start to annoy me. if you try sleeping with a fan on it may help. just listen to the fan and try not to think. that's how i eventually sleep

AHHH Ryan it sounds very sweet! I am glad you feel so good. Now please do not elaborate any details this is a public forum and you would not want to embarrass Kayla ever she should read this or one of her friends.. You were very polite and in answer to your earlier Question..Yes love can make you restless, but when you know how good it is and it is mutual you can also take those feelings to your dreams and it can actually help you sleep better then before too! It works both ways sometimes.. worring about someone or what you say or didn't say also can keep one up so it is best to try to never go to sleep with things unresolved. My 100 + year old grandma gave me that advice many years ago. She said to never leave problems hanging between you and the person you love . Always talk it out before you sleep on it. She says you don't want a wound to fester over night! So I have always tried to deal with problems when they occur as the festering can cause so much pain..

I am glad your evening was special keep it inside and treasure it.. you will build lots of wonderful memories young man!
