Well, I pretty much know deodorant covers up odor at least it tries to disguise the odor. but how does a Antiperspirant work to prevent the odor or from allowing the odor from escaping your sweat glands under your arms?

Antiperspirants contain fragrance, but they also contain chemical compounds that block the pores to stop the discharge of perspiration. No sweat, no odour.

Deodorant allows the release of perspiration, but prevents odor by combating it with antiseptic agents, which kill odor-causing bacteria.

Thanks Paul for the Answer I missed your response, but glad I found it!

Does blocking the sweat pores cause harm? What about these antiseptic agents can the clog pours and cause infections?
