How does Bag Balm work so well?!

That stuff is amazing! I cut my finger all up almost a week ago and with using bag balm it is all fixed! Looks really close to normal.

How does it work?

I have Never heard of "bag balm", but seeing as it contains the word "balm". I will guess that it is a product that is used for chapped lips and maybe minor surface cuts.

Either that, or it's for dry, cracked leather satchels  ;) (smiley found)

It was orginally used for animals.

All I know is it works on zits too! LoL. I'm glad you found that smiliey!

Ryan,
I would suggest that the bag balm did not heal your finger. all it did, was to act as an antiseptic to prevent infection as it healed naturally.

Actually We have used it here to. We started with horse injuries and it really sped recovery.  All my family have used it for years. It does seem to help heal faster, along with coating the wound. It seems to have less scarring but that could be all in my head too! But Bag balm is great stuff!

Neil, I would have to say it is. You could just go get some WD-40 from the store. That works well too!

I have never heard this one.. Have you tried it? It is greasy!
