obviously some babies are breech, but generally... what tells them to turn to come out head first?

i was thinking about this because my friend is having a baby and she said she felt him turn around last night

What if the density of the developing skull causes the baby to rotate accordingly? Just an idea

maybe... but they don't flip until right before they're born... i thought
