Physiology & Medicine / Is swallowing sunscreen toxic?

It's that time of year when the days are getting longer and I therefore start worrying about sunscreen. I'm an avid distance runner, so this time of year I tend to lather myself up in sunscreen whenever I head out for a run. So here's my question: on long runs, especially those where it's warm and I sweat a lot, I end up with sweaty sunscreen dripping into my mouth. This is pretty much inevitable, even though I buy the "sports" sunscreen that claims to be to be sweat-proof. So is sunscreen toxic in the small amounts I end up swallowing?
