It's the whole practice, industrial farming practices, as well as groundwater disappearing, f.ex deeper drilling with brine water as well as other man made pollution's accumulating in that water getting used. Now hard pressed by fast changing weather extremes.

For a country like Sweden it might mean very strange winters, like the one where wet snow falling broke tree limbs and covered us in over a half meter of snow in just some days. Never seen it as extreme before, as I remember. It's no longer any use to think of it as normal winters for me.
