Chemistry / What is the reaction between hydrochloric acid and aluminium?
« on: 13/10/2008 02:54:26 »
I was doing the old "hydrochloric acid with the can in it" trick, and i am pretty sure that it produces aluminum chloride.
what i was wondering was how to get the alcl ( aluminum chloride )out of the solution as a solid? you see when the reaction takes place the alcl is in a liquid form and i am wondering how to get it into its solid form and extract it from the solution?

please help, thanks allot

« on: 09/10/2008 03:56:56 »
OK, I read about engineering a virus to kill cancer cells and stop when it hit healthy tissue.

my question is what virus would you use to do it and can it even be done?

Would you have to use a specific virus or could it be any kind ?

please tell me what you think.

Physiology & Medicine / What happens to the brain when we dream?
« on: 09/10/2008 03:32:46 »
i have read that when you dream that the brain is expanding its ability to learn and understand concepts and data.

I have also read that a dream is just a past experience or things that have happened in the day repeated over again in the subconscious .

please tell me your input on the subject.

                               thanks allot
