i have heard many people say that Aristotle was just a moron who didn't know what he was talking about, but in allot of history books and most people's opinions is that he was one of the greatest philosophers/scientist that ever lived.

please tell me what you think of him

Aristotle was an empiricist who wrote from within experience rather than imposing abstract explanations from the outside.
Unfortunately for him, he suffers from the reputation of having, like Kant after him, a terrible style that is difficult to engage with - having little literary personality or style; his are dense and complex works, especially the ones on ethics
I find him difficult but then the early Greeks were coming from a past that doesn't resonate with our own experiences anyway; most philosophers agree that he (together with Kant) were two of the greatest philosophers ever.

i agree i don't think that he was a moron i have had a professor go on a lecture about how dumb he was.

I personally think that he was one of the smartest men that made strides in almost all fields of science and philosophy
