I know there are thousands of different species, but has anyone seen a caddis-fly before? Where do they like to live?
-
The fast flowing streams on Dartmoor are full of the larvae - covered in their armour of tiny stones and sand.
I wouldn't recognise an adult, though.
-
I think I saw a couple the other day, but I couldn't tell whether it was a caddisfly or a random bit of wood.
-
Actually, after some research, I think it might have been a larvae.
-
what makes you to think....
-
Because they looked a bit like this:

Then it's to time to research??
-
I guess so...

OK....
