Okay...
Firstly pH scale means power of hydrogen
it ranges from a scale of 1 to 14.
pH 1 being the most acidic, pH 7 being neutral and pH 14 being the most alkaline.
Acids
- turns Blue Litmus Paper RED
-strong acids turn Universal Indicator Red
-Weak acids turn Universal Indicator orange or yellow
Bases
-usually metal oxides or metal hydroxides
