If we run faster to Rocky’s Theme, will we love deeper to Lara’s Theme (or for that matter be a better secret agent when we listen to James Bond Theme?)  [;)]

I am struggling to pick up the general theme here.

Can you give me a clue?

The part of the question regarding the music of Rocky has to do with adrenaline (?), our body responds to that stimulus in that way, that much I know (I am a runner)... the rest is just conjecture...  Does a romantic theme In ANY way has a similar effect?
Forget about James Bond, he can never be surpassed.

I see.

From my view, music can change my mood intensely. I find that listening to beautiful music makes me feel very happy and humble, and listening to sad music makes me very sad of course, and listening to hard rock just makes me want to dance. When I listen to Coldplay though I want to shoot myself they are sooo boring....

My favourite song, and probably one that moved me the most had a direct link to my private life, so I would assume that the following things in a song affect your mood

1) - most important for me - Tune and melody
2) - Lyrics (Link to your personal life or something that you believe in)
3) - Singer's voice quality
4) - Singer's background
5) - Did the singer write the song themselves?

But mood is one thing...
Adrenaline rush in a marathon at mile 25 when you hear Chariots Of Fire is another... (when you hear the music, that is, because if you can hear the actual chariots, the flames are very near and you are very dead  [:D] [:D] [:D])

I won't deny that music can give you an adrenaline rush.

Sometimes I have heard songs that make my skin tingle on the back of my neck, and also have given me a very mild adrenaline rush.

I would think that the extra adrenaline that comes from doing intense excerise combined with a song that you like would probably be the cause of that result. An easy way to check is to listen to the song while on the couch and see if you get the same adrenaline rush....

But there is definitely some amazing feelings and moods that can be felt through music, it is such a deep and emotional experience when you let yourself go into the music.

Personally, I am not talking about pop music or big loud songs, I am talkng about songs Autumn Leaves by Eva cassidy that just gives me goosebumps.

One thing I can definitely vouch for music - It touches the soul deep down and can make me feel higher than any chemical drug ever could, and I have experimented with a few of them, but I chose music a long time ago as my vice because no drug or alcohol or even religion can make me feel the way I feel when I hear a beautiful song....
