Title: Is a cube of side 9m the same volume as a cuboid 2.25m by 9m by 36m?

Cube with sides ~ 9 m swimming pool with a depth of 2.25m, a width of 9m and a length of 36 meters. Same yes??

You mean the same volume? Well, yes. Think of it like this - you split the cube in 4 equal slices along its height, take away those slices and align them in length.

Just a simple arithmetic question such as I could solve at the age of seven , hardly cutting edge technology
