Hi, what is the best material economically and efficiently for shielding neutron radiation?
-
Probably Lead.

Take a look here

Probably not lead, it's a bit rubbish for neutrons.
Water, oil, or polythene as a moderator then cadmium, boron or gadolinium as a neutron absorber.
Economically, the best shielding is distance.
