Why Does Cold Water Shrivel Them Men Bits But Work Opposite On Girly Bits ??
« on: 09/10/2010 18:50:31 »
Dearest Peeps Of Cold Water Experimentation,

As a sheepy I of course luff water.....water is my all time favourite watery stuff that is wet when liquid and dry when frozen and just generally it's like well nice. Top marks to the bloke or bloke-ett who invented water !

hmmm..this is a delicate kweshchun of extremity curiosity  and because of it's nature I will not post piccys except for this one of  Simon the silly salmon.

Simon the silly salmon who thinks he's a chicken !!

Ok...while the yoofs are being entertained by Simon the silly salmon please to be answering this kweschun.

How come Cold water on a blokes  ' Meat & Two Veg ' shrinks them whereas cold water on a ladies  'Jelly Mountains' makes the mountain tops stand proud ?...ewe know what I mean ?

If I could get an answer before X Factor starts then this would be most appreciated as it's something I can boast about during the advert break.

thanks

hugs et les shmisheys

mwah mwah mwah !

Neil

The mechanisms for both are the same in that both phenomena involve contraction of smooth muscle.

I thought it was that cold constricts blood vessels reducing blood flow promoting the turtle neck phenomena.

A major component of blood vessel walls consists of smooth muscle (muscularis externae). Please explain your point. Steve

ERROR correction. I used the wrong terminology for the blood vessel smooth muscle layer. It should be the Media (middle layer) while the muscularis externae is smooth muscle in the GI tract. I am getting too old for this.

I too have noticed this strange phenominumunumnunminum (Bugger, I never when to stop with that word).

How well I recall emerging from distinctly chilly sea after a little swimmypoos, to be confronted by a young lady who, upon turning toward me, narrowly missed my peepers with her, ermmmmm, thrupenny bits.

"Careful!" Exclaimed I, "You'll have someone's eye out with them things!"

The young lady in question looked me up and down and said, "No chance of you doing any damage with that, is there?" [:I]
