« on: 17/03/2018 21:05:24 »
How do we know that dark matter is there ?
can we see it, detect its chemical signature, or its gravity ?
my understanding is No, but it has to be there because someone said so, please clarify this for me !

I was here before for a couple of years, then Doc Beaver passed and couldnt bring myself to visit, now forgot my old login ect, so had to create a new one, and its great to be back  ;)
Our granddaughters condition is quite severe, first she has a hole in her heart, then very reduced muscle function, her hearing is poor, she is only a year old, her growth is slow, but steady, she will be coming to G.O.S.H. to have her heart done first, then its physio and manipulation to try and get her some movement, she needs to be tube fed at the moment, as she cant keep food down, and her suck response has never realy happened, we see some tough times ahead ! :-\

[t.r]The people who wrote the Bible didn't realise that their ancestors were any different from themselves
thats hit the nail on the head, no concept of their own history, . . . genius, pure genius !  ;)

My thought is, Adam and Eve is a metaphor for early humans discovering themselves, and becoming aware of their environment, there is a point in history when humans started to settle the land and cease to be dependent on hunting and gathering, thus having more time to question why things are there, where they came from ect, to them, it must have been hard to believe all these things just evolved, ( something they obviously didn't understand) so they created the creator, well thats my simple understanding of it all !

Just Chat! / Re: Did Jesus die on the cross ?
« on: 17/03/2018 10:46:48 »
Obviously, he legged it after he was taken down from the cross, but, given a couple of days to rest in a cool place, could he have come out of the coma and thought "me" im lucky to be alive, better go see the lads and have a beer and a last bit of supper, ( see where im going with this ? ) then quietly slipped away, taking Mary M, and a fast donkey out of the province, and spreading the culture of hair and beards to the west coast of the Americas.
Understanding the physiology of the body a bit better these days, could he have appeared to "die", then come back to life, never going to know for sure, but boy did he start something !

Just Chat! / Did Jesus die on the cross ?
« on: 17/03/2018 09:42:18 »
As we know more about the body and how it works, could a mistake have been made ? could Jesus have lapsed into a coma, after suffering horrendous brutality, then when rested for a day or two, legged it on the advice of his friends, who covered for him by telling the priests, "he was taken up ". hence giving Jesus time to to nip out of the country as someone else  ???

Physiology & Medicine / What can you tell me about p3 deletion?
« on: 16/03/2018 13:11:55 »
My granddaughter is one of im told, only around 180 cases world wide, to be affected by this syndrome, it is heart breaking for us to see our baby granddaughter not develop like her twin brother, who after one year, is like a tank !
My question is,are their any links, or sources of information about this syndrome, that i can read, and come to terms with it, the better i understand things, the easier i can cope with its result, if this is in the wrong place, please Mr/Mrs Mod,move it to the right one please, its been a while and im baked by the sun, and forgotten a lot of the rules,
Many thanks in advance for any information on this very rare condition.
Ray Hinton.
